Monthly Meeting Minutes-April 23

From CMPG Director-Ken Losurdo

Ken kicked off the meeting on time at 7pm to a group of about 25 plus attendees. There were about 3 first time attendees.

Ken spoke about some general topics that were brought up at the board meeting on April 16th.

Those topics included:

  • Purchase of a CMPG designated laptop computer.
  • Board members are now able to post and update the "News and Announcement" page of the website.
  • The "News and Announcement" page now post automatically to Twiiter. For the quickest CMPG news updates follow us at: CentralMDPhotoguild@CMPG_Photos
  • The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore has invited us to participate in their “Awareness and Appreciation days”. Our participation in these events would entail CMPG members helping educate Zoo patrons on how to take good pictures of animals at the Zoo. This opportunity offers the CMPG a great visible opportunity to show off our organization, and to possibly gain new members. All CMPG members were emailed a volunteer signup with more information.
