Norm Barker speaker in May and assignment for June meeting.

Our speaker at the May meeting was Norman Barker, Professor at JHU who gave an extremely interesting talk and demonstration on an eclectic series of macro-photography subjects.

We all had a chance to look at the variety of equipment that he brought for demonstrations and it kindled in some of us a desire to explore the world of macro-photography.

Our assignment for the June meeting is to create the photograph (and layout) for a scientific illustration, with a large picture of your chosen subject and the closer detail views of the important specific parts (similar in concept to the example shown below.)
