Why volunteer to shoot event?

For the last several years members of CMPG and others have supported the Rebuilding Together Howard County organization on their Rebuilding Day.

What we get out of it is incredible experience and fun shooting people who want to be photographed in a fun environment - and we get a t-shirt and free lunch.

I have embedded a short slide show of some of the literally thousands of photos I've seen over the last few years from our members.

(If you get this as an email you can see the slideshow at http://lewlortonphoto.com/p464202746/slideshow)

Rebuilding Day is on Saturday, April 25 th this year. (and a couple of houses on Sunday April 26) and I/We can use your help no matter how unskilled or nervous you are.
If you have any questions, call me at 410-997-2806

All this below is detail but the big issue is, let me know so I can count on you.  Lew

Rebuilding Together Howard County is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to helping elderly and/or disabled low-income homeowners, and families with children through home renovation and repair.

CMPG has supported RTHC on Rebuilding Day with photographers for 6 years and, I hope,  will be doing it again this year.
There will be anywhere from 28 to 32 houses that will be repaired and photographed.  There is a need for from 7-9 volunteer photographers.

Each photo volunteer will be photographing the work and the volunteers.
These photos will be used for sponsor slide shows, web slide shows on the RTHC show and for promotional purposes.

If you would like to be part of the photography cohort that day, please send me an email with your name, mobile telephone number and physical mailing address (I try to group the houses geographically as close as possible to your home.)

This is invariably a great fun day -good people, good food - and the chance to practice a commercial shoot on deadline.

Specific info on meeting and requirements will follow as we get closer to date
